Blessed to Build
On July 27th 2018 a group of 30 young adults and chaperones traveled to Rosarito, Mexico to participate in a week long home build with Project Mexico. The trip was funded through the generosity of donations obtained primarily at the Left Hand Ministries inaugural dinner event. Participants included young adults from the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Northridge. Participants were blessed to be accompanied by Father Michael State of the St. Nicholas parish. Left Hand Ministries would like to extend our utmost gratitude to Fr. Nicholas Andruchow, the rest of the Project Mexico staff and the St. Innocent Orphans for graciously hosting the the young men and women who traveled to mexico to serve.

The trip served as a wonderful opportunity for the young adults on the trip to meet and serve with other individuals from across the country. As the above video attests, this was an experience that will have an indelible impact on those who served. Many of those on the trip are planning on future service with Project Mexico including potential summer internships with the organization.
